Seems a great apps. But, there already exist a similar application : Kst. Why have you prefered to make a new application instead of improve Kst? |

- When I resize Klavier, keys are resized but not text inside.
- Use real character insteed of long character description ('¿' instead of "questiondown").
- When I click on "3level" ("AltGr") key, Klavier should show me 3rd level characters.
- When I change keymap (using kde applet), Klavier should change its keymap too. |

There are no real idea in my message. I just say "Concept of GUI is well developped but not concept of SUI".
I don't talk only about notifications, but all sound system. Some of you prefer to turning the volume knob than mute software mixer. Not logical, no? When you have a conversation, background music have to been mute and only impportant notification have to be played.
In some years, soft phones will generalized. Problem will be more complex. We need to have a solid architecture to support them correctly. |

I'm agree with you, but many people find it is a good idea. IMHO, it should be added to KDE4 only if it can be disable. |

For second part, it already exist. Use kdepim package and take a look on kadressbook. Try to "export contacts" from kopete ans you will be able to send instant message from you addressbook. Try to add adressbook ressources (in kcontrol/KDE resources).
For the first point, I am surprised, it don't already exist. It is only a kio to add. But, I realy see what you want to do with your contacts in konqueror? why not use kaddressbook? |

To obtain effects like these smoothly, we need to have hardware accelration on our windows. Currently, Composite allows to some some features in this way, but it doesn't allow these effects. Take a look on Xgl extentions. If Xgl works some day, we could much more than these (basic) effects (feel weight of a window twist background windows, twist window, when it move, etc...).
So, do all you can to speed up developement of X and his extensions. |

ok.
It could be very good to integrate (replace existant tool) your tool in kipi plugins.
IMHO, I am not really sure, GwenRename is simpler than krename (especialy in wizard mode). Maybe a new presentation of options of krename would be sufficient.
But, do what you think better. :-) |
