Description:

A virtual keyboard for KDE.
This keyboard should look like a real one in your country.
Comments and suggestions are very appreciated :)
Please say me what keyboard layout you use so I can test and fix ;p
EDIT :
As my beloved tabletPC is now broken and my RL take me too much time, I won't maintain this anymore. So this is looking for a new maintainer

Changelog:

v0.3 :
- icon tray
- if you click on the top of the buttons letters will be capitalized
- change the "win key" face to the K logo as requested
- fix some buttons
- more character lookup
- initial internationalisation

 Some suggestions

- When I resize Klavier, keys are resized but not text inside.

- Use real character insteed of long character description ('¿' instead of "questiondown").

- When I click on "3level" ("AltGr") key, Klavier should show me 3rd level characters.

- When I change keymap (using kde applet), Klavier should change its keymap too.

I use different keyboard layouts and klavier doesn't change the characters if the layout is changed.
Otherwise, finally it's good to have this application, it was about time to have it for Linux!
Is it possible to have bigger characters on the keys? They are quite tiny.

The ability to change it's face when the charmap change is already done for the next release. But I'm facing a few bugs I want tp fix before release it. And I don't have much time these day, so be patient please ;p
And I add to the todo-list your request about font size.

 Feature request

I'd find the following features useful:

a) Customizable font

b) Option to customize what parts of the keyboard are shown (i.e. I don't need the numpad).

c) The keyboard window should remember its last position.

d) As others have already mentioned, it would be nice not to use long key descriptions like "ssharp" for ß in the German layout.

I'm dreaming of using klavier with a 12" touch screen....
