That's odd. Is the font normal, other than the size? Ubuntu (with GNOME) should come with the Bitstream Vera Sans font. I'll check it out.
Check in your "System > Administration > Login Window" menu and check out some of the fonts. |

The rsvg was the culprit.

I used to love this, until I added it on my reinstalled Edgy desktop. Now, all file icons show up as ugly GTK-esque corner-folded pages, from drives to files to folders. Blech.
Oh, well. |

The hostname // time info is offset. You might want to change its height to the same height as your bottom bar. |

Launch xnest. Hold down alt, and press Print Screen, or on a laptop, hold down FN, alt, and press Print Screen.
Copy it into GIMP and scale it. I also used the crop tool to get rid of the window border. |

Sounds neat... yes, I grant permission for the mod (it is GPL...)
How would you go about changing the gtk theme... I would add Clearlooks or something similar. |

What a coincidence, I was planning to do the same!
I'll release a new version today, using updated, and smaller, Tango icons, a small bottom bar, and a bigger logo. |
