| Re: Resolution issue Dec 17 2006 on content Mac OSX Imitation: GNU/Linux | You could try shrinking the font for the label. Open up macos.xml with a text editor and look for the username label (line 31).
Play around with the font attribute (e.g. change font="Sans 10" to font="Sans 8") and save the changes. Once you get a font size that works do the same for the other labels. Hope it works! |

| | | Re: installing theme Nov 16 2006 on content MacTru | If I'm not mistaken I believe that compiz has metacity support meaning that it should be able to use metacity (i.e. gnome) window themes. |
| | | Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Nov 11 2006 on content MacTru | so, you're running gnome-window-decorator as your window decorator... I've done a bit of googling and I haven't found how to change the window theme or whether its even possible. When compiz first came out, the window theme was hardcoded meaning that there was no way to change it.
The compiz-quinn branch came up with CGWD as a substitute for gnome-window-decorator in order to allow the user to change window themes. When compiz-quinn forked from compiz and became beryl, CGWD was replaced by emerald.
So, I guess that what I'm trying to say is that I don't know how one can change or add window themes for compiz. Sorry :( |
| | | Re: Re: Re: Need hel Nov 9 2006 on content MacTru | Try this, open a terminal and enter the following command:
ps aux | grep gnome-window-decorator
and post the result. |
| | | Re: Need help to ins Nov 8 2006 on content MacTru | That's going to depend on which window decorator you're using (e.g. CGWD, emerald).
I'm using beryl (in Fedora Core 5) instead of compiz so my window decorator is emerald. Previously, when I used compiz-quinn the window decorator was CGWD. Before that it was gnome-window-decorator.
I don't know which compiz window decorator fedora 6 comes with. See if you can find out which decorator it comes with and let me know and I'll try to find out if this theme is compatible and how you can install it. |

| | | Re: Re: doesn't work :( Jul 18 2006 on content Kwlan | No, I don't get any type of output when I run it from konsole. It just returns to the prompt:
[daniel@yukikaze ~]$ kwlan
[daniel@yukikaze ~]$ |
| | | doesn't work :( Jul 10 2006 on content Kwlan | I compiled the latest version of kwlan using automake-1.9 (instead of the default automake-1.7) in Fedora Core 5 and installed it. Whenever I run it (from konsole or from the menu) nothing happens... no errors, no gui, nothing. Any ideas? |
