The label of username field doesn't fit very well inside login box if you use a diferent language, in my case portuguese.
The same thing happens with kspash theme messages.

I made it a few years ago by combining two wallpapers; A macintosh graphite wallpaper with an "end of evangelion" wallpaper.

I used to use this kdm theme on my old laptop and it looked awesome. But ever since I change to a laptop with 1680x1050 res, the labels spill outside the boundaries of the grey box. Is there a way to fix this?

You could try shrinking the font for the label. Open up macos.xml with a text editor and look for the username label (line 31).

Play around with the font attribute (e.g. change font="Sans 10" to font="Sans 8") and save the changes. Once you get a font size that works do the same for the other labels. Hope it works!
