Opera9, qt4 ??
Jun 23 2006  on content kde4 use opera widgets?

Hi

You're just wrong about opera9 and Qt4 : Opera is still using Qt3... For instance, when I launch ldd on the opera binary, I get the following lib : libqt-mt.so.3. It's clearly a Qt3 application

You can also look at the about page of opera (Help > About opera), the Qt library version used is shown there.

Nice

Nice idea, but your "example" will probably never be possible : Gtk apps won't offer the feature needed...
But it could be possible with KDE apps.

No
Xgl and aiglx brings no 3D effect. They're only helping the design of a composite manager using OpenGL...

Mar 13 2006  on content Konqueror for a New Experience

In a well designed website, it's useful to browse the website without having to find the menu in the page.
It's also really useful in documentations.
For instance :
www.website.org/doc/2.3.4/modules/a_module/example.html
You want to go back to the module index ? Up.
You want to go back to the list of modules ? "Double" up (or long click with the tiny move of the mouse) and then select the right entry
And so on.
I use it extremely often !

Up button
Mar 13 2006  on content Konqueror for a New Experience

Please, don't remove the "up" button in web browser mode. It's one of the best feature of Konqueror for me ! No other webbrowser has it, while it's a feature I use near of everyday.
But perhaps you could put the stop and refresh button together...

Re: Cool Idea
Jan 8 2006  on content Backside of window (mockup)

Looking Glass uses notes on backgrounds, but we also plan support of config windows on the backside.
The main problem I see is : if a user want to see the effects of his/her changes, he have to flip the window...

Re: ATI the best?
Feb 8 2005  on poll Best graphics chipset for Linux

How can they have voted for ATI ??
ATI has good graphic cards, but their drivers are piece of shit ! Even not able to have a correct Composite (OpenGL can't be enabled with it) or an accelerated XRender!
