Description:

Idea - we can use backside of window for setings and properties. Flipping windows (aka programs) to configure their appearance/usage/features/ect. saves screen space and can be intuitive for users.

It will be fun, but I see one problem.
To configure the appearance of a windows, I like to see immediatly the effect of what I've done. If we have to turn the window each time we change something. It won't be nice for skinnable application..
Maybe if we keep a shaded version of the application somewhere...

the skinnable action could be taken in the kde control center.

he is talking about application specific settings.

To continue what I feel is a very good idea:

The way to display the properties could be thought of as a sheet of paper coming from the back to the top of a stack with a move. Of course, this sheet would be partially transparent. The normal sheet on the top should be the usual application view.

Actually the properties sheet could be mutiple: one "graphical properties" for fonts used inside app, size of window, colors used..., one "files and dir properties" for dir where to save, to load, name of files, extensions..., one "dyn properties" for full path of app, arguments, mem used, cpu used, open files, open sockets, user running the app, time when the app was launched... and for some commands (kill, freeze/continue, set priority (renice), set max memory used, set max cpu used, close file or socket, change user...).

In order to access the properties sheet, a button beside "help", "minimize", "maximize" and "close" should be set. By the way, the help could be one of this sheets.

Just few ideas thrown in the air...

This is lame. It works on OSX for widgets because those aren't whole programs. They are just small things that have maybe one or two options. Please do not implement this in KDE.
