Just remove them! I always do so. Right-click -> Settings -> Scrollbar -> Hide. Right-click -> Settings -> Save as Default. Close QuadKonsole. Start QuadKonsole. Voilà! |

Sure that would be better, but how could one access the shortcut configuration dialog when QuadKonsole has no menu or toolbar?

The F keys can't be used to switch konsoles because they must remain available for the applications running in the konsole. |

Yeouch... That wouldn't be possible because Konsole itself (the program) doesn't use kparts, as far as I know.
What would be the use of that? |

Because unlike KDE, GNOME developers put a lot of time into GDM so it became really beautiful and themeable, unlike KDM. KDM should have a new mode, where everything is themeable. A full-screen mode where eye-candy is the top priority. You know, like in movies, lots of animation and maybe even a little beeping. ;) |
