Great idea!
I think it could be improved by having the ice just be a ripple or disturbance in the water instead. The penguins floating make it too cartoonish for the real photo.
Otherwise great job. I really like it. |

Although it does not seem that konqueror nor K3B provide this kind of status through DCOP, it may be a good use for it. Then any DCOP aware application that supports these status messages could be plugged into this applet.
