It looks nice, but wouldn't the users miss the directory trees? I find them quite convenient when browsing a remote directory in the main icon view, and wanting to copy a file to ~/Documents/foobar/ for instance - I can just drag into the sidebar folder. But if the sidebar is just a collection of "links", then they cannot be used as browsable destinations anymore.

The page http://konqueror4.linuxdevel.net/ seems to be down, at least it doesn't lead to the interactive konqueror mockup anymore. Is there anywhere we can find it again? Coding takes a long time, we need good ideas to stay around for many years until they can get implemented :-)
