Description:

I have been thinkin why Kword doesnt have a sheet in the middle of window, why it must be attached on left side and not like in abiword or openoffice.

When a sheet is in the middle, user can see easily how it would look.

So i made mockup for this idea to know if anyone else likes this style?

I would also like Kword to appear centered.

I'm impressed how far Koffice has come in the last year. You can read all about it in the November (not affiliated with me) Linux Magazine article here:

KDE normally uses a light source which is located in the top left corner (for example see the back- forward buttons of Konqueror).

KDE 4 will be using shadow differently. see the oxygen icons.

I like the shadow for the paper, looks very nice.

I like the way how KDE lets configure itself. And i like if this mockup could come to Kword (koffice) someday and it would support options to shadow. Like "No shadow", "normal shadow" and shadow like this.

Important is just that a paper can be in middle or like it is now in current version.

KDE it just must be...

OK, the page is now centered in the window, will be in KOffice-1.5.
