Forgive my rambling but that's exactly my point. The wallpaper section should be organized in another way and non KDE wallpapers should have their own space.
Mixing different content types is no good from an organized pov. |

I'd like to ask the mantainers at Kde-look if posting photos not related with KDE as KDE wallpapers, has become a standard procedure.
The content is starting to loose organization thanks to the bunch of wallpapers uploaded as KDE wallpapers but with no KDE content.
The photos are cool, beautiful, great, you decide. But please, they have nothing to do with KDE.

Wallpapers can be ugly, pretty, whatever. Art as a whole is subjective but since there's something called organized content at kde-look.org, and there's also a place for such non-related kde art at "other kde wallpapers", why don't we make things as they should and put the content in it's place ?
You don't need to defend anyone. My remark is constructive, as i praise his work first and then advice him on how to do things correclty.
It's not a big deal, really. This is just called "constructive criticism". |

This is a cool pic and all, and it makes a pretty wallpaper, but please this is not a "kde wallpaper" because it has nothing related with kde.

The reason there is no email symbol it's because it wasn't asked for the contact mantainers. In fact they asked for "communication, organization and productivity".
On the other hand, the "K" within the "@", does point to something related with emails, although kontact is not just an email program.
Regarding the symbols not being recognized in 48 and smaller sizes, of course they are gone but that's not a problem to me. When scaling down a logo like this, with more that one element, the smaller elements may be gone but the overall consistency of the icon - the 3 smaller ballons - is not compromised, but reduzed for the sake of simplicity.
Hope i could explain myself and thanks for the comment anyway.
