This is a cool pic and all, and it makes a pretty wallpaper, but please this is not a "kde wallpaper" because it has nothing related with kde.
Next time try uploading to other wallpaper. Thanks.

I want to defend the author of this photograph.
Why does it have to be related to KDE each time? There are plenty of wallpapers without any logo, without tux, and still they fit the KDE desktop perfectly! More than that, look at other wallpapers here, at kde-look: you'll find lots of simple gradients with logos in the center. Yes, they are KDE-related, but they are ugly!

Wallpapers can be ugly, pretty, whatever. Art as a whole is subjective but since there's something called organized content at kde-look.org, and there's also a place for such non-related kde art at "other kde wallpapers", why don't we make things as they should and put the content in it's place ?
You don't need to defend anyone. My remark is constructive, as i praise his work first and then advice him on how to do things correclty.
It's not a big deal, really. This is just called "constructive criticism".

Wallpapers on kde-look are orginized only by dimensions. I think that "other kde wallpapers" category is meant for those that have nonstandard dimensions and could be tiled.


Check your default kde wallpapers directory (/usr/kde/3.4/share/wallpapers/).I found that 9 out of 22 standard kde wallpapers have "nothing related with kde". Some of them are photos.


So I don't see any reason for moving this picture. If I find some time I'll play with the Gimp and try to add a logo or some text.
