Grrrr
Apr 15 2006  on content menu bar (kicker replacement)

So, you want to dump menu to make a new menu?
So, menu is not good, but a menu is?
You want to declutter the desktop and clutter your menu (not the klipper menu, but an other menu)?

Now I have seen everything...

.
No!
Apr 15 2006  on content visualize the size folders by colors

Color coding does not work.
Everyone thinks color coding works, but I am a progessional designer and I AM TELLING YOU: NO. It's futile.

Forget it. If you cannot read numbers, colors won't help/
What if I am colorblind?

.
Ouch!
Apr 15 2006  on content Export Linux Apps 2 Flash 4 Windows

What are program counterparts? Are they cmpatible? How compatible are they? What if there is no counterpart? What is "and stuff"? Is "and stuff" binary or text data? Is it programs or data files?

When you say "bookmarks and stuff", I assume you would have to wait for a programing language called intuitive-C.

It will only use a meta-code, which will look like this:

$someshit = everything_usefull_for_me;

if (user want stuff & flash available) {
dump $someshit > computer.flashmedia;
} else {
dump $someshit > forgot.mypocket.flashmedia;
}

Apr 15 2006  on content more widgets

Widget: window gadget.

So you want a new window to see ipv6 and ipv4? What do you think can be seen in that particular protocol?

You want more tabs and buttons? Is there a reason for wantin more buttons? Did you ever use all the available buttons? No? You sure you want more of those?

Look. Every button or tab should be there for a reason. You cannot just "invent" new stuff and place fancy names like "ipv6" beside and hope that widget will be of some use to someone. There actually HAS to be a purpose for it and someone has to proram that rather exactly in order for it to preform.

Baaaad!

.
Ouch!

Terrible, terrible...

What is your typical user?
1. This is useless waste of resources and time for a power user.
2. This is terribly slow for office use.
4. Idiot users will not understand it.

Open source community is about people writting software for themselves. Why would anyone want to impose this on himself?

On the other hand - M$ sells stuff to earn money (notice the absence of words "develop", "software" and "users"?) They might (and have) come up with such a way to navigate a computer.
They burned for it too.

Nope. Really bad idea.
