Deb package
Jul 2 2007  on content Multimedia Converter

You provide a deb package in the release.
I try to install, but it tell me that
it can't do that because the package is
broken or I do not have the permission to
install. I check the permission and I have
all the rights. So the only conclusion is
that the package is broken.
If I run the application from src/Multimedia Converter/LinConverter.kmdr
from Komander Editor it works. But is to complicated to do that every time.

How TO
Jun 11 2007  on content Alien GUI

The people who want to use this kind of applications have no idea how to install anything.I am (in some measure) one of them.

Please provide an "Install" file, or a "Readme" file explaining how to install the program. This information should be provided before the "how to use the program" information.

Not everybody knows all the good things you know. Please share with us --the commoners -- the usefully informations.

When I need alien, I use the Terminal. But I am a "lazy" kind of guy and if is some GUI available for some command I don't hesitate to use it. ...And, in conclusion, "there are more like me where I come from".

Re: Re: how it works

Thank you for you advice. But I said that I have KDE as well. This was not the problem.
I finally make it work (in gnome as well--it is your program you should be proud).
My great mistake was that I do not have previously install kommander. After I do that all came in to place except the program icon itself.I found the launcher under /usr/share/applnk/Internet and drag him on the upper panel and to my surprise just works.
Thank you for your program.

how it works?
May 24 2007  on content kubpppoegui

I install the program. The process was flawless. The launcher was installed under internet applications. When I click on the launcher icon nothing happen.
I work usually on ubuntu Gnome but I have the KDE-desktop installed as well, and the kubpppoegui installation was done under KDE environment(I saw that it doesn't matter if I do the installation under gnome or under kde).
