Changelog:

----------------------------------------
4.1.0

- modified shutdowndialog
- fixed bug in analog_meter (thanks to youngmug)
- converted/compressed all files from svg to svgz

----------------------------------------
v4.0.0

- added lineedit
- modified viewitem
- modified frame and dragger
- changed busywidget (uses the default one but in white)

----------------------------------------
v3.1.0

- modified lancelot-theme (modified and updated most parts and color theme)
- modified scrollbar
- removed overlay from background and translucentbackground (theme looks better without it, i think)

------------------
v3.0.1

- modified frame- and dragger-margins (fixed cutted fonts in tabbar)

----------------------------------------
v3.0.0

- added toolbox, line, slider
- added busywidget (for now using the oxygen one)
- added overlay to background and translucentbackground
- modified systemtray and fifteenPuzzle
- many small changes at nearly all parts of the theme to fit better into plasma's specs

------------------
v2.4.2.1

- fixed bar-meter-horizontal and bar-meter-vertical (fixed size-bug)

-------------------------------
v2.4.2

- modified viewitem, dragger, extender-dragger and frame (keep consistent to the previous theme-modifications)
- modified shutdowndialog (added shadow to the background and fix button-sizes)
- removed all opaque svg's, except the shutdowndialog (Maybe i will re-add a new opaque-theme in the near future, which will look quite better than the old one. Also i hope that the kde-team will find a way to keep translucency when composition is turned off)

-------------------------------
v2.4.1

- modified background, dialog-background, tooltip, krunner, lancelot-background and panel (more decent shadow and smaller borders to reach more space-saving)

----------------------------------------
v2.4.0

- modified panel-background (a little bit polished and better support for thin panels)

 Glitches

Your theme is really nice but there are some small glitches.

First of all, although you mention "changed the widget background because of rendering problems in kde4", you still haven't fixed KRunner's issue. It still has this strange issue.

The shutdowndialog also appears to have a problem over here.

Hello,

i forgot to change the krunner background. I've uploaded a new one now and hope it's fixed.
What do you mean with the shutdowndialog problem? If you you just see a white border and nothing else then you have the same compositing problem like me. There is a file called 'Shutdowndialog2.svg' inside the dialog folder which has a black background and is rendered correctly. Just rename it to 'shutdowndialog.svg' and restart your session.
People with a kde4.0 doesn't seem to have this problem.

 another glitch?

i was using glassified 0.7.1 on kubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) w/ KDE 4.0.4 & it worked fine. but today i upgraded to 0.9.1 and now the logout dialog/window is completely transparent with nothing in it! only the white power logo/icon shows with a white border.
i would take a screenshot but since it is the logout dialog i can't.

Hello and thank you for using it!

I got also this problem with no real transparency on logout. But there are people out there using KDE4 who doesn't have this problem.
Nevertheless i decided to make the black shutdowndialog the default one and the transparent an alternative, because my goal for this theme is that everybody can use it the same way. And of course you and me.

Hmm ... So im the only one without this problem? oO
Well im using KDE 4.0.4 and QT 4.4 ... may thats the combination you need? ^^ well @ creater now you can switch back to the black Shoutdown dialog again. You all dont need to have bugs, just because of me ^^ Make the Black Login dialog default, and i will change the data in the old one ^^ ( if you tell me how :D )

Your Theme is getting Better and Better :)

Greetings Chramed

P.s. versteht man mein english? xD

Hello again.

I don't know if your special combination is the right thing, but until i'm not the only one with this problem i change the default one to black again. The transparent one is now the alternative (shutdowndialog2.svg) for people like you, who can use transparent logout.

When kde4 doesn't have this bug anymore i will change again, because the transparent one fits much better.

p.p.s. Ja, man versteht es gut.

I really like your theme, even that I have not even installed it (yet!).

I like how you have got the "Oxygen" idea to it, so it's smooth and light and what is important, some kind classic!

I hope you continue to do these themes, different kinds ;-)

 Install your theme?

Excuse me for my noviceness but how do you install this theme? I extracted and there is no readme or the like. Your instructions next to the download say to compile or install rpm but neither of these ways exist for this package. I go into look and feel and select theme manager and browse for the zip file and the extracted files but it does not see them as theme files. How do you install this theme?

Hello,

for everyone it's eventually the first time. So that's no problem.

1. extract the zip-file
2. copy the folder 'Glassified' either local to $HOME/.kde4/apps/desktoptheme or systemwide to /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme
3. choose the theme by right clicking on the desktop and then 'desktop settings' -> 'plasma theme'
4. click 'OK' and restart your kde4 session.

Another way to activate is to edit the 'plasmarc' file in $HOME/.kde4/config.

By the way the instructions beside the download file aren't mine and deal for the most parts with KDE3. So not my fault at all.

Good luck!
