to install:
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

You will need gtk2-dev and automake to compile.

You can do something for use the pixmap engine for the entire panel?

So it would be posible make themes for the panel independent of the panel size.

It would be nice.

I downloaded the Gutsy Deb, and it says that libc6 dependency is not met. However, when checking my packages, it is installed, but I don't have a package called gtk2-dev.

argh.. it was built on 2.6.24 kernel in gutsy, hence the libc dependency. Try building it from source then

I could install it successfully on Hardy.

However, after few days, an update from ubuntu come (2.12.9-4ubuntu3).
The problem is that yours is 2.12.9-3ubuntu5 and gdebi doesn't allow me to re install it. How can I do?

in the end I could re install it.
By terminal, use dpkg with --force-downgrade oprion

"sudo dpkg --force-downgrade -i yourPackage.deb"
