Description:

On ubuntuforums.org (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3109273) I\\\\\\\'ve found the solution to fix the problem between Openoffice and Slickness black theme made from Robert.

This fix requires that you have also installed Slickness theme following Robert instructions, for a better integration with slickness black theme.

To install the fix simply follow this instructions(based on Ubuntu):

open the terminal and cd in folder where you have placed the file just downloaded, then:

1) sudo mv /usr/lib/openoffice/program/ooqstart /usr/lib/openoffice/program/ooqstartBIN

2) sudo cp ooqstart /usr/lib/openoffice/program

3) sudo chmod +x /usr/lib/openoffice/program/ooqstart

And here it is!

P.S: this fix can be used also with other dark themes, just modifying ooqstart file, ask me if you need using this fix with other themes..

I really want that theme setup you have in this screenshot. I like the widgets too. I want all of those exactly like that. The menu button as well. I know the theme is Slickness Emerald, but I'm not sure about the menu button.

I think not everybody has this file. It is the quick starter for OOo. You may use as well/usr/bin/oowriter.
But anyway, thanks for posting this here.

I don't have ooqstart indeed. I tried to add

env GTK2_RC_FILES=/usr/share/themes/SlicknesS/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

to /usr/bin/oowriter and /usr/bin/ooffice (the script called by the Main Menu), and nothing worked.

Any ideas?

I am a complete newbie to ubuntu and linux. Installed the slickness theme. OpenOO 3.0 had no icons (everything else looked good). Got redirected to this fix. But can't seem to figure this out: how do I use this? Downloaded the file 'ooqstart' on desktop. opened terminal in the desktop folder. applied the first command 'sudo mv' it gave an error: mv: cannot stat `/usr/lib/openoffice/program/ooqstart': No such file or directory

What do I do??

Please help...
