Description:

This is a theme based on Azenis, created by JJ Ying (www.jjying.cn). All credits for the artwork goes to him. I only made the port of it. I of course had to alter it a bit because of the limits in Dekorator and Kbfx.

Decompress the Azneins Theme and find the readme.pdf inside. It tells you how to install the theme

What the theme include:

Windeco for Dekorator

Kbfx theme

Font for Kbfx

Wallpaper

Kicker background

Icon backgrounds (for icons in kicker)

KDE Splash theme One with sysinfo and one without.

KDM-Theme This is my first KDM-Theme so don't judge me to hard :P
You will need to install the font (saved by zero) provided in the "Azenis Theme".
I don't know if it works with other resolutions other than 1280X1024.

Cursor-theme (Target) of JJ Ying. I have changed the color and made it smaller than the original.

SuperKaramba-themes:
System info (Base of TechMon-theme) http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Tech+Mon?content=31253
UT2004 serverbrowser (based of skQstat) http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/skQstat?content=19106
Style for Kclock http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/KClock?content=66205

OpenOffice.org-splash http://web.telia.com/~u00175529/openintro_ubuntu_sun.bmp

Color scheme and QtCurve theme By request

Liquid Weather background http://web.telia.com/~u00175529/20.png

Audacious skin
http://audacious-media-player.org/index.php?title=Main_Page

Hope you like it :)

Changelog:

Added a SuperKaramba sysinfo-theme. I used the TechMon-theme as a base.
----------------------------------------------------------
Fixed mistakes in deKorator (Left bottom corner and left top frame). Cant believe I missed that.
----------------------------------------------------------
Made it all into one download because of the complains of the host. Don't know if its better.
----------------------------------------------------------
Found a new host. Don't know for how long it works.
----------------------------------------------------------
Added a style for Kclock (super karamaba)
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/KClock?content=66205
----------------------------------------------------------
Added a alternative Kbfx-theme. Made some room for icons in the listbox.
-------------------------------------------------------
Added a Amarok Super Karamba-theme (first screenshot). I used another karamba-theme as a base as I am novice on scripting.

As always, it's not done yet. When I figure out how to make a volume-slider I will finish it. It seems to use a bit of cpu as well. Suggestions are welcome.
----------------------------------------------------------
Added my UT2004 server info-theme for SuperKaramba. It is based on skQstat: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/skQstat?content=19106
Don't know if ppl still play UT2004 but I added it anyway. Maybe someone have some use of it. The only requirement that I remember is qstat that you probably will find in your distros repository.
---------------------------------------------------------
Put all into one download, and made better structure of the theme. I also made a howto in a pdf-format for new comers to Linux. I'm not very good at explaining things but I hope it will due. I also added a OpenOffice.org-splash. There is no room for more screenshots so you need to click on the link to see it
---------------------------------------------------------
As ppl have asked for a color-scheme, I added a color scheme and also a QtCurve-theme because of the color for the scrollbar. Don't forget to save your QtCurve theme if you should not like this one. This will always be separated as its own download.
----------------------------------------------------------
Added a background for Liquid Weather (I used "Black Cutouts" as a template to make mine). You need to click on the link to see a preview. I also removed the separate downloads.

If someone request it I will update the howto to cover "Liquid Weather", but You will most likely find info on that on main site for lwp. http://liquidweather.net/

---------------------------------------------------------
Added a Audacious skin. I have put a lot of time to make this, so I hope you like it.

I also updated the screenshot so I can show the most of it. It's not my meaning that you should use all I made as it will be too much.
----------------------------------------------------------
Made a new button at top left on the Audacious-skin (forgot to do that before I released it
----------------------------------------------------------
Something happened to my file on the host. Had to rename some of the files. At the same time I updated the screenshot and uploaded the new Audacious skin which was not updated last time.
----------------------------------------------------------
Updated the Audacious-skin. Added better looking buttons.

Fixed the problem with the decompress. Seems to work now.
----------------------------------------------------------
Fixed the KBFX start button. Also fixed the date for KClock. It was one pix to low (strange, thought I had fixed it before).

The new icons in the screenshot is called Preface (found it some time ago on some site), and is not an icon-theme. I manually changed the icons I use.
----------------------------------------------------------
Found a error in the KDE Splash theme (system). Removed "uname -m" and "uname -a". Will look better for all distros (I think).
----------------------------------------------------------
Added a alternet KBFX theme. To use if you are using more than 1 plugin.
----------------------------------------------------------
Added a VU - Skin for Audacious/Xmms (By request).
----------------------------------------------------------

License:
You may not alter this and release it without permission from JJ Ying (http://www.jjying.cn) and me.

(Azenis Theme)
(Liquid Weather backgrounds)
(Color scheme and QtCurve-theme)
(Azenis Audacious skin)
(Yet another alternative KBFX-theme)
(Audacious VU - Skin)

 Installing Dekorator-theme

by sgw on: Feb 20 2009

Score 50%

Looks like someone had a problem with this on page 7 with no help.
I am fairly new to linux. Just installed Debian 5.0 with KDE 3.5.10(stable).
I followed the directions and during the step to install Dekorator-theme.tar.gz to Windows Decorator/Theme, I do "install new theme" and select it and press OK(no error), but it does not appear in the list, and clicking "Set theme paths" does nothing(since there's nothing to select). I "installed new theme" multiple times, and rebooted and tried again, still won't show.
How can I install this? I think, unless I missed something else, this is why I don't have min/max/exit buttons at the top of any windows.

BTW, it's great that you are offering support for so long, I love how the theme looks and can't wait to have it.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you, it should just work as you are doing it right.

You can try this workaround:
Decompress Dekorator-theme.tar.gz Then set the theme's path manually to where you decompressed the theme. See this screenshot Dekorator-theme.tar.gz It's made for my Xaphire theme, but I guess you can figure it out anyway :)

Np with support :) I just think other ppl reading here could help out with support.

I have been searching for help on forums and irc with no results so askin u Ezy :) I assume your screenshot is showing how to add to 'Image Index' in 'Control Center' under 'System Administration'?? When I go there it says it says GNU GIFT(GNU Image Finding Tool) is not intsalled, and gives a link to it's page on gnu.org. After some trouble installing it from .tar.gz I realized I could apt-get it o.O eheh. I installed it with apt-get (no errors and no suggested packages) but going back to 'Image Index' gives me the same pop-up saying GIFT is not installed. I rebooted and same thing.
Am I on the right track? What do I have to do and what other information would be useful?
Thx

EDIT: Did not get to 'make install' when I was trying to install from it's .tar.gz, so that shouldn't be the problem

My above 2 posts have nothing to do with this theme.
I got Image Index working, but it is not what I was looking for.

Ezy, do you have any experience with 3.5.10, or just 3.5.9? That might be the problem.
I do not see any tab/window in my Control Center that looks like your screen shot.
Anyway, for now I found I can use another Window Decoration (using KDE2) to get min/max/exit buttons, and still have most of the theme. Everything besides the DeKorator Window Decorations is working.
Still looking forward to getting this fully installed if you have other ideas?

 Screen Shot

by sgw on: Feb 21 2009

Score 50%

This screen shot is using a custom background image, and only the Clock/SysInfo Karambas provided. The SysInfo Karamba is modified to only show 1 temp(as my system only has 1 temp[temp1] available) and 1 storage device(as my whole system[besides swap] is on 1 partition).

Amazing theme. Hope to see it at #1 on kde-look soon!

Change "CPU Temp" to "temp1" in that line. Might solve it... :)

Glad you like the theme :)

About the icons. Quoted from page 10:

"Here you go: http://solidfiles.com/d/ab62381059c138749ec71d0e6254ae34

Remember, this is not an icon-theme. You have to manually change the icons, one by one."

What dock are you referring to? I don't use any dock (that I remember :P). Do you mean Kicker (at the bottom of the screenshot)?

Thanks for the link. But it seems that solidfiles.com isn't working right now ._.

I ment the "dock" in the upper middle. It looks like a dock to me. But if it isn't a dock, whats then? Normal icons?

Solidfiles had a little downtime i think. Now i have the right icons. Thank you very much!

But i have another question... :D

The font color of my minimized windows is black, and not white like in your pic. It's a stupid question, but i can't figure out how to change the color, could you explain it to me. That would be very nice^^

Sorry for these stupid questions, but i'm "new" to linux :D

Try this: "Untar the windeco, then you need to add the path manually like this:
http://web.telia.com/~u00175529/xaphire_Theme1.png
(this is for my Xaphire theme, but I guess you can figure out what path to put there)."

You can change the window and buttons color i kcontrol:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2308/2526607861_4d6edc2925.jpg You can also find some colors to change in the Style section. The colors on the kbfx menu and windeco is not possible to change though.
