The style is not bad, but is not very original;reminds me the new look of kde4...
but for gnome;what advantage with xp engine?as you said, needs to be polished a lot, like frames, buttons, progressbar;for the name I suggest something like Apollo or
Century, something like to remind the space...?
Don't give up. ;)

I like this theme a lot but think it needs more polish. It does have a couple weird issues.

-- It causes Gimmie to lose its icons
-- The menu bar is oddly balanced (the words are closer to the top than on center)
-- The menu bar produces no highlights when clicked

Other than that, I think this is one of the more beautiful themes =)

just open the .themes/Cyllene/gtkrc
and change the gtk-button-images and gtk-menu-images to 1

One more, it should allow for 24 px panels

I see you changed the scrollbar and progressbar images? The old ones looked better IMO.

Btw, are you going to skin spinbutton control?

One more notice:

buttons with focus seem to have double shadow, so pressing them does one shadow to remove, but the second stays. This makes different styles on button which have focus and which does not. I think it's slightly confusing

1 Progress and Scrolls - In finished version will be available a few versions of progress and scrool.
2 buttons - I work on it :-)

I don't get it. I've tried installing the experience-engine several times, without errors - and yet I can't get the theme to work.

Any suggestions? I've had a good eye on this one for a while. I'd like to try it out other than just look at it. :)

Reading a readme often helps, so I tried that. After using ./configure --prefix=/usr instead of just ./configure, it worked. :) Wonderful theme.

Very nice theme. But this vertical line on the left of "Window list" and "Notification area" must be much more invisible or lean right.
