Description:

This style provides a theme engines for KDE widgets which allows translucent menu and panel (kicker), all of that using a C++ based engine instead of using pixmaps which increase performance.
The translucent of the menu and of the panel are fully configurable.
Bug report and suggestions are appreciated.

I liked the old tabs! What did you do to them?! But the new ones are nice too, so you are forgiven. ;)

Of all the KDE 2 styles I've used, this one fits the definition of "style" better than any of them. Keep up the good work.

Hello,

I must say that you did a very nice job. I really enjoy the work you have put into to Teax.

I am running Debian testing/unstable and I got the following message when I ran the configure script. I have a X in my $PATH but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong...

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

P.S> any chance you will have binarys available>

it says "includes not found" , that something very
different from Program's that are in your $PATH variable
to start from there.

include's are .h files.

just try to install some blah-dev
packages , for example some from x-Windows
if you want the X-Includes.

I installed it, but I didnt get anything like the screenshots. Do I need to restart KDE before it works fully?

I agree with the other guys, this theme ROCKS!!
One wish though: I hope that in the next release there will be translucency for the external taskbar aswell!

I followed the installation instructions correctly for Mandrake. The installation went fine, however I don't know how to access any of the Teax stuff?

I went to Configuration>KDE>LookNFeel, and there was nothing with the name Teax. So, I browsed around and went into 'Style' and found a Teax option there. I applied it, but the result wasn't very pretty (gray boxes all over the place), so I'm sure thats not how I'm supposed to activate it.

I'm using Mandrake 8.1 & KDE 2.2...
