this is just an 'invisble' shelf with the insets themed like that. i'm thinking of making this theme available.. but it can take some time..

well, great work, but imho 'engage' provided more... first of all i dislike the usage of vera fonts and wish them to be replaced by a proven DejaVu family. last 'wish' is implementation of a "systray" like it was in 'engage' or so... though i'm not suffering without it, but it could be nice.

np problem to me to use dejavu instead. will be in the next release :)

it would only be possible if one makes the bar non transparent and then it would be themeable only with a lot of ugly hacks

i've added a module_large text_class for the label now. it's in svn. you can change it with the advanced font dialog

there are trayer and stalonetray. the tray spec is really nasty i dont dot use any systray, so i'm not doing it.... but you are lucky i heard someone is doing a systray module for a atm. and if the code is reuseable i'll maybe put tit in itask-ng

Yeah, I've tried both of them. They both have their shortcomings.

I can't recall, one of them seems to cause e17 to hang when you log-out and or shut down.

If I could get a good network manager for my wireless connetions that didn't require a system tray to use it easily I could probably go without.

Stalonetray seems to work ok. It's applications in it that don't shut down on exit.
