Description:

Dark murrine theme. For better experience one should apply the patch included for 0.51 murrine's version. It removes white text shadows from insensitive widgets.
By the way, i'm using BlendedSmall Metacity theme and Buff icons.

dark themes no doubt.

You can actually distinguish widgets, buttons, text.

Thanks.

Oh cool! Removing text shadow was on my todo list, i had to merge it from mist engine... but i think i will take your patch since it seems similar!
Now we need an option to do it ;)

This is such a stupid question, but how do you apply the patch?

applying a patch is as simple as downloading murrine-0.51 source extracting it and executing
"patch -p1 < murrine_style.c.patch"
this command should be run in parent directory of murrine-0.51 folder

rather than remove the shadows it should be better to set a color for this.
For exemple it's better to get color from text[GTK_STATE_INSENSITIVE] and shade it to new color murrine_shade (text[insensitive, newcolor, 1.1) e.g.

can't agree more with that, but i just wanted fast solution for annoying white shadow. i would like to make a more flexible patch which would add such options as you've described but i really do not have time now, though i will consider that in future. btw, does anyone know whether white shadow is hardcoded in gtkstyle.c or am i mistaken?

Nice job. Also, can you not compress the theme folder inside a .themes folder next time. Could be confusing for those who don't extract inside their home directory.
