Description:

Ridge is a generic/kwin window decoration
based on the excellent work of zakariyas MKUltra KWin style

Have fun.

a "ridge" decoration and offset title box and buttons.

December 2003
Ridge v. 0.2

width, offset width, decoration theme to choose between
the original Ridge and a vertical gradient and additional
color options for active and inactive windows outlines.

December 2003
Ridge v. 0.2.1
- fixes to run with QT 3.1.x
- fixes in geometry calculation

This is very nice! Something different for once... I have a feeling I'll be sticking with this one for awhile. Thanks!

I was thinking that if the Window Buttons (min, max, close, etc) could "attach" to the end(s) of the Title bar when shaded, that would be cool. And if it was only an option, even better. ;)

One thing I would definately like to see now is the Title Text color be used for the colors of the Window Button "text" -- right now, the Inactive Window Text color is used for both Active and Inactive buttons.

I'm glad to see people learning from other's work! I wrote MKUltra using the Web style for inspiration, and I wrote GONX using clee's dotNET.

This is the beauty of open source code. BTW, it looks really good, and useful. Window shading is a fantastic usage paradigm, which most environments (sadly, even OSX) ignore.
