Description:

This window dec is the same as KWinAcquaMod + Dropshadows by l3m, except ive moved the Iconify/Maximize/Close buttons to the right hand side. This is for those people who are so used "normal" window decorations.

Changelog:

Uploaded a tarball of source, instead of a DEB. Sorry, im a debian user, and it was force of habit.

 .deb package?

by Kormac on: Feb 26 2003

I'd love to have this one, which has the buttons placed in the proper positions, but why do I get a .deb package rather than a tarball or something?

 Debian Users

For all of those debian users out there, if you want to build a deb of this window dec, download the tarball, extract it, cd to the directory it makes and run 'debuild -us -uc'.
A debian package (.deb) will be built in the parent directory.

Maybe you should add the fix given in the discussion to

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5085

which fixes the ugly line in the bottom shadow.

Bye
Thomas

 bugs

by nyt on: Feb 28 2003

few annoying bugs:

1: window A is below window B.
window A raises itself without taking focus
BUG: Shadows are still drawn over window A

2: window A is below window B
window A changes, or text scrolls
BUG: Shadows do not update.

Now, i know theres an option to refresh every X ms. but that is more of a hack than a solution to the problem. Is there a way to update shadows when the proper X events are received?
