If you browse the web in front of children it's your obligation to check the content, not that of the content provider (I don't see how this image is harmful to children, but that is another story...). Don't put your responsibility on someone else's back.

Anyway, while the parents should take full responsibility for keeping thier kids off pages like this, maybe a "adult" or "suggestive" section wouldn't be a bad idea; that way, filters would block the adult pictures, and kids can still see the rest of what gnome-look.org has to offer. Oh, and here's a random thought: "ubuntu-look.org" Not for the nude pictures, but for all of the ubuntu stuff to be put on its own website.

wonders what kind of children are browsing the Gnome-Look Website for themes to change Global Settings like login Pages on Linux systems. I mean seriously, talk about a prodigy, Administering a Linux system at age 7.

and if a child surfing the computer on their own were looking for erotic or pornographic materials can find better places than this to find it. do a google search if you don't believe me.

and the point that the name "Pinup" and this particular thumbnail should be enough that you shouldn't even have had to load the page is very valid. But something tells me you come looking to complain about it.

and how does some artistic nudity offend you so much, and yet you go into Super Combo time with curse words like it gets you bonus points. I wouldn't apply this theme since I believe my Linux should look professional, modern and cool. However this is what Linux is about: freedom of choice.

And to those purists bitching about inadequate contents: first of all this is an art not a pornography. It is not vulgar and, let's face it, it is just a nice piece of human's body. This is where your purist kids came from as well as what they've been fed with, isn't it? The sooner you understand that the better for them.

Secondly, you had seen the thumbnail thus should have refrained from surfing here either because you don't like it or your purist kids are around. Don't try to blame someone else for your mistake.

But even if it was a soft pornography I would still defend it on the basis explained.

Be open minded, admire woman's body.
