I can' remind when and how "all Europe suffers nazi tricks of Estonia" but surely big part of Europe and Asia suffered communistic tricks of Soviet Union. Problem was not in statues moved to cementary but in millions of people who were murdered. And don't forget that USSR collaborated very actively with nazi Germany before june '41.

You still believe in a simple scheme: German Army: occupants, Soviet Army: liberators. But truth is much more complicated. You should understand two simple things. First: break of World War II was a result of Germany-USSR pact who divided part of central Europe, so both of them were agressors and occupants. At the beginning of war Germany occupied part of Poland, SU occupied Lietuva, Latvia, Estonia, part of Poland and attacked Finland. Second: USSR occupied baltic countries first, germans arrived later and soviet occupation in these countries was much more bloody than germans occupation. Estonians joined Germany, because after first soviet occupation, they regarded germans as liberators. If they now makes a parades, it does not mean that they glorify nazism, even if they have some symbols of their formation.
Simillary, when some soviet combatants have a meeting it does not mean that they glorify stalinism.
I know that Russians still pay for your mistakes, many other countries also pay for your mistakes, but I am not sure that most of Russians understand these mistakes. I would like to believe, but there are many of examples that supports my doubts including statues of Stalin that were build 2 years ago in Russia.
I can't see faschists signs here, but I see soviet and communistic symbols. Also I see them during parades in Moscow.
Nasism and communism were two crazy ideologies that resulted in death of at least dozens of millions of people in many countries. III Reich and Soviet Union relized plans of mass terror, executions, killing people with camps, by hunger, in SU also mass deportations. Both nazi and communists, III Reich's and Soviet Union's symbols should be treated in simillar way. If you want to use them as a joke you should be very carefull. Remember that still many people remember soviet, and nazi terror. Just consider it!

P.S. Also do not forget that the death first camp were created in territory of Poland by Poles in 1919-20. For Russian. Tens thousand was lost.. The Polish newspaper writes: " Russian as cattle, instead of horses put, and they dragged carts and harrows on timber cuttings, an arable land and road works " And for clearing of your country was lost more our 600.000 soldier, and now, in February, 2007, local nationalists are going to replace a memorial to the Soviet soldiers in Katowice a statue of former American president Ronald Reagan. And you wish to tell that you are objective? )) Delirium!

The story about "polish death camps in 1919-20" for russian soldies is mainly a fairy-tale that was created when Gorbatshev admited that massacre in Katyn and other places were comitted by soviet forces, to justify these mass executions. After bolshevics invasion on Poland, when invaders army was destructed, 80-85 thousands of red army soldies were kept in camps. There is no evidence that POW's were murdered with premeditation, however many comissions tried to find it. They died mainly because of flu, typhus and other epidemies especially when camps were totally overloaded after Warsaw Battle. The number of died is estimated on 16-18 thousands. Over 65 000 of soviet toops come back to Russia in 1921. Many of them didn't want to come back, preffered to stay in "terrible white Poland" or in other coutries.
It is completelly not comparable with genocides that were comitted later by soviet forces. With premeditation dozens of thousands polish POW's were murdered and much more civilians were killed, imprisoned in camps, or just deportaded to Siberia or Kazakstan where conditions were much worse that in "polish death camps". Just compare mortality. If you want do talk about soviet POW's, read how they were treated in SU when they were "liberated" from german's camps.
Statue in Katowice still exists. Probably it will be moved somewhere in the future, there are some ideas what will be there later. Most probably statue od silesian uprisers, that was there before war. One of proposition is statue of Reagan , what's wrong? For you he is black character, for us he is the man who win cold war, what make us possible to be independent again.
We know that many or soviet soldiers died in Poland when they cleared our country from nazis. Cementaries of soviet soldiers are kept in good state, I see flowers and candles there, they are respected and nobody wants to destroy them. We will not destroy them like you did with cementary of polish, american and french soldiers in Lviv after your invasion in 1939 and in 1971 when even tanks were used, and not mix the bodies with a use of geological drill and built recreation places over them as you did in mass graves in Katyn.
Few weeks ago in Khimki near Moscow the statue of soviet soldiers was destroyed, bodies of soviet (yes, your soldiers!) pilots were removed. Demonstration of citizens in 22'th of April 2007 was brutally pacificated my russian militia. So your politicians and journalists should be more carefull when call somebody "baribarians".
If you want to really understand why statues in Poland, in most if not all causes with agreement of Russian gov., are moved from centres of our cites to cementaries, you should read much more about our and yours history. It is not any "rusophobia" or "nationalism". It is not against russian people, we are not against them.

Yes, in history I am not strong, especially your country. But about the pact I remember, and I remember as all have exchanged with the beginning of aggression on us. You speak about occupation. So I to you too shall tell about occupation on an example of Estonia, all has begun with it.
The Estonian Republic has begun the falling, probably, already in 1934, when Pyatc and Lajdoner have carried out revolution to strengthen the reeled authority. They have put behind bars heads at war for freedom vapses and have dismissed their party. Pyatc understood, that on coming nearer elections of the state elder it will lose Larke - and it should not occur. There's nothing to be done, revolutions occur, and at whom authority, at that and the truth.
The state becomes usual after similar capture of authority more strongly, but with Estonia it has turned out on the contrary. It was repeatedly written about millions crones which have been allocated per 1934-1939 for strengthening of defensibility of the state but which have not been spent for it. Where have got to money? It and I, be it probably, would ask at Pyatc and Lajdoner. When in 1939 were going to modernize heavy arms - was already late. The Europe was on a threshold of war, and in the weapon did not trade.
What has occured in the summer of 1940, occupation, or the voluntary introduction into Soviet Union? Logically arguing - the voluntary introduction as occupation follows operations. General Lajdoner has ordered to armed forces to combine the weapon and has categorically forbidden to show resistance to the Soviet armies.
It would be desirable to know, whether so-called contract still concluded in 1939 about bases operated? undefined it is visible, as people was glad to these events, happier with them - Pyatc, Lajdoner and a clique have derailed the state. Rushed a brotherly bosom of great Russia hoped for happy end.
People has left on streets, the Soviet active workers have distributed red slogans, all shouted: " Down with capitalist vampiros! " Anywhere there was no arrow, people were raised and happy. Ridiculously, that some historians name such pleasure occupation.
The same academic "clever men" consider and Pyatc with Lajdoner brave martyrs though do not understand, why traitors consider as heroes.
And still an example for any baltic.
Results of elections of 1940 were those. In elections in a national diet of Lithuania has taken part 1 386 569 person, т. е. 95,51 % of all had the suffrage. For candidates of " the Union of the working people " Lithuania 1 375 349 voters, т voted. е. 99,19 % participated in voting {677}. 591 030 citizens have taken part In elections in II State Duma of Estonia, or 84,1 % of the general number of voters.
For [240] candidates of " the Union of the working people " Estonia were voted 548 631 person, or with 92,8 % from number voted {678}. 94,8 % of voters participated In Latvia in elections, т. е. 1 246 214 person. For candidates of " the Block of the working people " 1 155 807 citizens, or 97,8 % from the general number voted {679} voted.
After a victory over elections the significant part of the left forces began to demand persistently in the countries not only establishments of the Soviet authority, but also ocurrence in structure of Soviet Union.
The Soviet armies have been entered into Lithuania on the basis of the contract and the consent of both parties. The Soviet armies did not interfere with internal affairs of Lithuania and did not establish an occupational mode.
P.S And the main thing. Business not in monuments, and in attempt of revisions of results of the Second world war. And it is very easy to write history on new list if to clean traces of the truth there where them anybody them will not see. And then it is possible to write that is admissible Poland and the USA have won the second world war, and Russian bears as always drank vodka at themselves in a den)
While Russian bears as usually drank vodka in the dens ))
Everyone the countries has claims to any country. And we too can remember how many you to us have impaired a blood. But we for some reason do not do it. The history is history, but not a writing-book for beautiful words.

About R-M pact: Hitler wanted to ally with Poland against USSR. Goering several times travelled to Poland trying to induce Poles to do it. But Poland ignored these propositions. Moreover, Poland started talks with SU about "friendly relationships". So Third Reich started negotiations with Soviet Union. In August 1939 they signed "Treaty of Non-aggression between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" with a secret protocol where they divided part of Europe (including Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania) into "spheres of interest". Interesting that the border of these spheres was in the centre of Poland. The rest - invasion of Poland by Germans and later by Soviets what started II WW, incorporation of Baltic countries etc was just a result of that pact. SU didn't had to ally with Nazi Germany, but did it. Lithuania in R-M pact was in German sphere, but after invasion on Poland Germans exchanged it for a part of Poland. It was BEFORE somebody "invited" Red Army in Baltic countries, BEFORE "elections".

About "elections" in baltic countries:

"It's not who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes" - Joseph Stalin

After annexion of east parts of Poland soviet government forced Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to allow soviet army enter these countries. 25 000 soviet soldiers arrived to Estonia, 30 000 in Latvia and 20 000 in Lithuania. In 11.10.1939 Beria gave an order to "eliminate all anti-soviet and anti-social elements" in baltic countries, so terror begun. In June 1940 SU demanded to form new pro-soviet goverments in baltic coutries. New thousands of soviet soldiers and NKVD arrived. Parlaments and many institutions were dissolved, most of members of goverments were arrested. NKVD arrested 15-20 000 of "enemies". Only in Latvia 1 480 oppositionists were murdered without any trial at the beginning of July. Only communistic parties were allowed to present candidates to "free election" in 14th and 15th July 1940. After the "free election" new pro-soviet parliaments asked USSR to join Baltic countries. During next months next executions and deportations were continued. Only in 13/14 june 1941, 25 711 of people were deportated form baltic countries (data from NKVD report), they were mainy members of families of "enemies" who were probably arrested and murdered earlier. Next deportation was planned on 27/28 June, so germans invasion made it delayed... for few years. Maybe it is understable now, why people in these countries invited germans as liberators, and when Red Army was coming back, thousands of people were escaping everywhere they could, and why Estonia does not want to have a monument of "liberator" in the centre of their capital.

And last, about "rewriting" history: You don't understand what the problem is. Nobody says that USSR didn't won the war. It won the war, enslaved many european countries, and become superpower for about 50 years. The problem is that in version of history that was created by soviet propaganda is huge amount of lies. One of the most striking, and widely known, example was a genocide in Katyn. Soviet gov. claimed during long time that it was done by Germans. Finally Gorbachev said that soviets have done it and Yeltsin gave us some documents. Is it "rewriting history" or just cleaning it from lies? It is wrong or good? Did Russia lost something because of it? In my opinion things like that may built true good relationships between nations. It is nothing wrong to say "We have done it, we are really sorry".

I don't want to continue this discussion here, there is no place for historical or political discussions. We are living in 21th century. If you want to know more you can find it. Of course you can still believe in old, soviet version of history where Red Army was always liberators that save poor people from bad imperialists, capitalists and fashists, and if somebody says something else, he is bad guy, faschist, rusophob and wants to attack Russia.
We should learn from history a lot, not to make a conflicts, but to prevent all of us to repeat old mistakes. If the past will be covered by layer of lies, mistakes will be back. If people who were responsable for genocides will be treated as heroes, probably we will see their copies in future. If ideologies that promised to build paradise on the Earth, but gave us camps, executions and deportations will be trated as good or even funny, they will find new believers. Remember, that these mistakes cost many millions, also Russians, lives.
