Kbfx is on running ;) And why not use a php-template for see the folders and files...
and a template for right mouse-klick who can generate extra options with php-plugins and other one if fount by KDE-"Boothing"......

First off, what superstoned said.

It makes me laugh really, The moment windows and in particular vista is mentioned no matter what the idea is, someone will go “ugg no way stop copying windows”

This idea is about php and how its used, as far as I can tell its not about copying the GUI of vista.

So what’s the problem?

there're afiak at least KDE/Qt bindings for perl, python and ruby - should be enough scripting support (beneath kommander) for the moment.

as php is somewhat optimized for server side web scripting i don't see why there should be bindings for KDE/Qt or WinFX (or whatever M$ is gonna call that now) - especially as M$ has it's own proprietary php knock-off, called asp...

and: (important =) if someone's stealing ideas here, it's MickeySoft (again... - just think of monad: "yes we have a usefull shell now...")

I think, I know what he means. And there probably will be some kind of PHP support, at least some kind of. Some guys (partially including me) work on the Qt/KDE bindings for Mono, and there is a language called PHP.NET. So if the bindings are finished, you cann write your Qt/KDE apps in PHP.NET.
