Description:

Almost everyone loves Firefox' tabs. My idea is to enable tab-browsing of maximized windows on the desktop. Normal windows would behave like they do now.

This would remove a problem of waisted free space on the windows' titlebars because there's no longer titlebar on any maximized window.

I don't want to force anyone to use this feature, so let's make it an option.

Have you looked at the mockup? The idea is to remove the titlebars of the maximezed windows and move theirs buttons (close, maximize, minimize, all-desktops, etc) to the kicker. It would then behave like tab-bar in Firefox.

 Not a bad idea

At first I thought the idea sounded cr@p to be honest with you, however with some extra thought it looks quite good.

You get my vote BUT I would rewrite the description if I were you.

 Middle click

I don't know about FF, but in Opera, middle click closes a tab. I'd be quite happy if the taskbar let you close apps by middle clicking their button.

Removing the border & title bar for maximised windows is a good idea.
