Description:

Domino is a style with a soft look. It allows to fine adjust the shininess of the widgets by customizable color gradients.

Changelog:
0.4
* new option for indented / non indented menu items
* new option for highlighted tool button icons on mouse over
* the button look for tool(bar) buttons is now optional
* new rubberband options
* smaller tabWidget margins
* respects Gwenview's / Kicker's taskbar applet / Konversation's own mousewheel handling for scrollviews
* clipped popup menu edges, for a better look with KWin's shadows (Beryl seems not to support it).
* fixes pixmaps on PowerPC architecture
* fixes functionality of some popup QToolButtons and adapts their look and behavior to KToolBarButtons
* the content of popup menus with a side pixmap is visible again (Amarok, Digikam)
* adapts KMenu's section header style
* fixes Kickoff's tab icon alignment
* fixes possible crash with enabled text effect
* lets apps using their own label colors on tabs (if they're not defaulting to a fixed color like konsole)
* decoration: option "dark window frame" draws a darker frame
* decoration: borders are hidden when in maximized mode and moving / resizing of maximized windows is not allowed.

Anyone got this running on Dapper Drake?

./configure works fine, but make generates loads of errors.

I guess you are missing the xorg dev package. Could you post the error output here?

Thanks a lot for your style, i love it! Heres a suggestion: in the upper left corner, there could be like an arrow, as if it was a comic speech bubble, just for more eye-candyness ;). Thank you a lot

I'm pleased you like it. But I think the arrow would look misplaced if the popup pops up above the cursor and I can't forecast where it will do it.

Yes, sorry, the menu gets overpainted by the gradient.
Here is a fix for this:
http://home.arcor.de/michaellentner/amarok_menu.patch

This ones fixes some stupid crashes:
http://home.arcor.de/michaellentner/domino_0.2_kicker_crash_fix.patch
http://home.arcor.de/michaellentner/groupbox-polish.patch
http://home.arcor.de/michaellentner/popupMenu_hang_fix.patch

To use them cd into the domino-0.2 directory and
patch -p0 < (patches)

 Great work!

I LOVE this theme, it's so great and smooth... Makes my KDE experience the greatest. Also, it appears to have some similarities to Baghira. I use the milk style.

Just wanted to tell you that other than the already mentioned bug with the scrollbars in gtk apps, which is actually fixed in SVN qt-gtk (I'm about to compile it) there is also a bug in Kopete, the scrollbar, yet again. It seems that in Kopete it won't scroll down via mousewheel at all, though the scrollbar looks just fine.

Keep up the GREAT work on Domino :)

 LibXext

Really nice looking theme. I've run ./configure but it says half way through that it can't find a working LibXext. I've installed both the LibXext6 and LibXext-dev Debs from the Debian site, but it still doesn't want to configure. Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance...

From what I found, libXext is not the problem. Probably you miss some other dev packages, but which? It seems to be a common problem, but unfortunately nodody is ever posting the solution. I recommend you to install all KDE + Xorg-devel packages, with this you will also prevent further problems.
