Description:

Domino is a style with a soft look. It allows to fine adjust the shininess of the widgets by customizable color gradients.

Changelog:
0.4
* new option for indented / non indented menu items
* new option for highlighted tool button icons on mouse over
* the button look for tool(bar) buttons is now optional
* new rubberband options
* smaller tabWidget margins
* respects Gwenview's / Kicker's taskbar applet / Konversation's own mousewheel handling for scrollviews
* clipped popup menu edges, for a better look with KWin's shadows (Beryl seems not to support it).
* fixes pixmaps on PowerPC architecture
* fixes functionality of some popup QToolButtons and adapts their look and behavior to KToolBarButtons
* the content of popup menus with a side pixmap is visible again (Amarok, Digikam)
* adapts KMenu's section header style
* fixes Kickoff's tab icon alignment
* fixes possible crash with enabled text effect
* lets apps using their own label colors on tabs (if they're not defaulting to a fixed color like konsole)
* decoration: option "dark window frame" draws a darker frame
* decoration: borders are hidden when in maximized mode and moving / resizing of maximized windows is not allowed.

 critical bug:buttons

Domino is a great style - but it has an aggravating button bug: as long as I use the domino style it is not possible anymore to leave the amarok lyrics editor once you entered it. You go into edit mode by pressing the edit button and normally leave the edit mode by pressing that button again. That second button pressing is ignored with domino style active.

About the same is with the konqueror bookmarks toolbar: When I have more bookmark buttons in the toolbar than the konqueror window width can show there's a small "more" arrow. It flawlessly works with any other style - using domino it's dead.

Is there a way to correct this?

 love this..but..

for some reason, on museeq..the tabs do not display correctly with this style. They have no text..or real gradient. You basically can barely see them..and you definitely can't read them.

museeq is here: www.museek-plus.org

With any other style it works fine.

Hopefully this can be looked into.

thanks!

Hi
currently using
kde 3.5.5-0.2 fc5 fedora core
2.6.16-1.2133_fc5
i686

the stuff compiled and was supposed to get installed after <make install>. However the theme doesn't appear on kcontrol nor i can add it going to /usr/share/apps/kstyle/themes (it is there though) and manually select it
any clues on this?, thought it was just a theme with some new widgets (compile part)
am i right? a noob says hi here
cheers
