Description:

Anyone who reads the madpenguin reviews has probably already seen this, but i thought it was worth posting here to see what other people make of it.

The people at Novell have been busy and have come up with a new menu /interface for gnome, that I think looks very promising indeed. The links below are for 2 short videos of the menu being used and also for the original article.

Hi all!

I saw, that it can be run under ubuntu (with a patch), but it needs gnome. Is there any way to get it working under KDE?

It looks good. Obviously a search function will be in KDE4 as desktop search is a much hyped addition. The buttons in the interface, however, are way too big. Can you imagine using this on a 800x600 screen? It would probably be annoying on a 1024x768 screen. This might be ideal for my grandma, but most people would be happy with buttons half that size.
