Description:

This theme was made from screenshot of credits in Baldur's Gate 2: TOB.
I tried to make screenshot of the theme but I failed. I took a screenshot from gdmthemetester, but it is with russian text and is not exact as for kdm. So if there is someone who can do screenshot for me, you are welcome! =)
It's my first theme, so any advices are appreciated.




Changelog:

26.04.06:
Fixed some images' "bugs".

Older:
Fixed problems with resolution less than 1280x1024 when buttons were on a wrong place. But remains problem with font size. Fonts are small in compare with background. Don't know how to fix yet.

Also now "portrait"/logo is in it's own file, so if someone want to change it just replace file "portrait.jpg", the size must be 210x329. If size is wrong it will be scaled to the size.

Added file "KdmGreeterTheme.desktop".

kcontrol complain about: can`t read configuration file for this motive.

You can run them from kconrol (preview of kdm theme) and take picture with ksnapshot

This is a totally cool idea. I'd like to see more like this. . .even window decorations and styles. Two thumbs up!

I banned my last account here by accident - typed new password in russian so can't login now.

Added file "KdmGreeterTheme.desktop", maybe it'll fix thidney's problem, don't know.

Also I haven't found any "preview of kdm theme" in kcontrol. Maybe I have some different software. I'm under Debian/Etch, KDE 3.5.2, KDM theme manager 1.1.

you should really think about making fantasy style/windeco!

p.s.: shouldnt you be able to have them reset your password?

It seems that I changed password while was in win... it must had been because of encoding problem that I couldnt enter while was in kde.I\m glad that it's past now=)

What about styles/windeco... I think that I can do a windeco, because it's about picture editing, but styles it's C++ and I am not experienced enough to write so much code. If there is image editing way, tell me please.
Or maybe documentation for coding styles exists somewhere, it would be nice if so.

//it's so hard to write in english, too slow, huh =\

i havent done any style coding myself but i heard that it isnt really hard to make simple (mainly just images) styles... you could google for a tutorial or just email authors of big styles and asking them for help or tutorials!
most of them are nice people :D
