Thanks for your feedback.
a:
Added hover effect. As I don't like too many gimmicks, the press effect will most likely not be implemented...
b:
As far as I know DecGen only supports min, max, close, resize and help buttons. Sorry.

 doesn't install

by scream on: Dec 2 2005

./configure --disable-debug && make && sudo make install

runs fine, no errors (kde-prefix is correctly detected automatically, that's not the point).
Typed in the sudo pw, and everything seemed to run fine. But it doesn't appear in the windec-list. Any ideas?

The problem sounds exactly like the kde prefix is not detected automatically. Why do you assume that it has been? Have you tried to configure it using the kde prefix?

Hrrrm strange, that was it. Other KDE programs compile fine though without having the prefix set manually.

Anyway, creat windec! Maybe you can include some hover an click effects to the buttons?

The deco is made with DecGen, as stated in the description. Maybe with a future release of DecGen it will compile on AMD64... Sorry, I can't help you here. You may try and post your problem with the author of DecGen.

It's worked on amd64, the author uses AMD64-based platforms exclusively... I've talked to him. ;)

I talked to stoned already, something in the tree isn't clean. AMD64 users can re-run configure and make distclean - that will fix the problem.

John, you might want to configure and make distclean as well, maybe you have some compile x86 objects floating around that amd64 users can't link against.

Please, fix the border and titlebar to follow color schema settings. It's show gray when I use dark color schemas.

I take a shot of this behavior: http://www.tosta.com.br/single-cd/deepplastik.png

The original border is gray, I left it as it was.
With the titlebar colours you can play around. Just experiment... Again, default is the original colour
PS: Can't look at your screenie. Is your server down?

Missing libraries probably. Not sure what distribution you're using, but installing kdebase-devel on rpm-based distributions (SuSE, Mandriva, Fedora, etc.) will get the development libraries you're missing.

HTH.
