Description:

I don't have time or motivation to maintain this icon theme anymore (this theme has not changed since version 3.3, Mar 17 2007). The fact that it still "kinda" works nearly a decade later (2015) is a small miracle. If anyone wants to take over its ownership, please contact me.

This is (was) a complete refresh of the original OSX icon theme by Toby. I fixed every missing icon I could find, fixed the "tiny icon" problem and made enhancements. It is somewhat of a hybrid theme: I tried to make choices that seemed logical trying to keep a balance between usability and strict adherence to OS X.

2015 update: fixed the download link, nothing else.

Yeah, and why not amarok, gimp, leafpad, bash, and so on? ;)

(Just in case you were serious and did not know, Firefox does NOT integrate into GNOME and you have to use Firefox themes to change the icons.)

For a KDE version, as I do not use KDE myself, you guys would have to tell me what goes where or something. Besides, this is gnome-look.org no? ;)

Wow, you just found a bug :) I fixed it. The file has been updated. If you don't want to download the whole theme again, just go to scalable/apps/ and rename "thunderbird.png" to "mozilla-thunderbird.png"

Actually, two copies of that icon should exist, with each name, as the name depends on the version of thunderbird and the system in use, on the end-users computer.

I sometimes use just plain Clearlooks. In the "black white and green" one, it's "Mockup" for the GTK theme, and "Human" for the metacity theme.

I really love your icons, only I'm too noob to understand why they won't install. Usually I can install them with drag and drop (themes for ubuntu are .bz2)
Can you help me?

Well, I install this by dragging and dropping in the Theme Manager window. It usually works. I just tried.

If it does not for some obscure reason, you can decompress the archive into either:

~/.icons/
or
/usr/share/icons/

Can't get it to work in ubuntu as well. It installs well, creates the folder and all that jazz. Just doesn't apply any icons.

Ideas anyone?
