Description:

Ok, boys and girls: KILL ME! DELETE ME! HANG ME UP ON THE HIGHEST TREE IN TOWN!

What I dared to submit is no "flat theme" and no overkill alpha-blending style, it's just a wallpaper I made. And I like it, although it does not contain a big K or "KDE is the 'future'" or "use Linux or I'll kill you". It's just a bitmap.

Forgive me! Please!

Why would I want to: KILL YOU! DELETE YOU! HANG YOU UP ON THE HIGHEST TREE IN TOWN? Unless you're living on the edge and you're into all that kinky stuff...you know what I mean, yeah and some of those "K" are sweet and some of those "Linux" thingies are cool...can you blame us, we are all just so excited about this alternative lifestyle we've found "away" FROM MICROSOFT. Haven't even looked at your wallpaper...gonna now, ehh thanx for listen-reading and stuff.

yeah, why should you want to KILL ME and so on? Because I am insane enough to not use Microsoft products and still NOT HATING THEM. Some of them are very powerful - Microsoft's not sooo bad! Ok, Linux is (for users like me) the only sensible choice, but so what?

I use Linux because it's cheaper and more transparent and more stable and (really!) more user friendly (given the case that user-friendly docs are available ) and because of some other reasons. But I don't think that Gates wants to take over the world.

I WOULD use win-dos if it would prove enough functionality for me, but it simply is not powerful enough for the things I want to do (but to be just: with WinXP Mega-Macrosoft has done a not-so-bad-job).

And I don't need silly symbols like or to say that there currently is no "I Love you" virus that is able to run on my system or kill it. I don't need to fight WinDOS. Or Megahard. I simply use the system that's better for me.

Linux. (LFS).

Any linux/BSD* users says: "I use linux/BSD* but linux/BSD* don't have programs
like Photoshop o 3DStudio from windows operating system, and use photoshop with wine"
¿ Something why uses linux/BSD* ?, i believe this not best for free software (KDE is free software remember),
and the majority contains from this site was not made with free software..
All the icons from gnome and wallpapers, was made with gimp ¿ Why don't make a wallpapers, splash screens, ... with gimp ?
If you are a graphical designer is comprensible, but for a wallpaper, splash screen, i believe this is suficient. no ?
Two frases :
"If likes use a free operating system use a free software"
"If likes a propertary software
(3D studio, and photoshop you have much money, but your software is legal right ? i don't believe ...)use MacOS or windows"

Kill me :P

but this is cruel reality ...
