Description:

The Final1 of a clear style for kopete... it may still change a lot until the final version so tell me what you like and dislike ;-)

As for the pure style a version able of handling multiple messages in the same bubble will be available once this version is over.

+ added the patches of neofreko and Firetech

Final0 :
+ multiple messages
+ lots of bugs (from pure) solved
+ possibility to see your own avatar in old kopete versions (you must modify the source code if you want it... it's indicated, don't worry)
+ etc...

Beta6 :
+ better avatar background
+ bigger bottom borders
+ some other small changes

Beta5 :
+ Modified avatar background (white border)
+ Lightly rounded messages' bottom line
+ Slightly modified the buddies
+ Changed system messages boxes
+ Replaced clock icon
+ Added highligted messages managment

Beta4, some changes :
+ goodbye to the shadowed text (not enough readable according to friends)
+ new avatar background (in fact there was none previously)

this style rocks, but please, add the protocol icon on it.
I did it myself here, but the results wheren't that good because I only was able to align it on the right, after the time/clock.

I haven't tried the 1.0 beta3 yet, but in earlier versions there was the problem that, if the first message you write in a newly opened window is from the same dude than the new message, it's posted in the old bubble, but also with grey text!

For some reason i can't see any images in the style... then i meen any images at all which are located in folder data/Clear.
Why is it like this... Any ideas?

I have the same problem when intalling by the file, what solves is installing throught kopete itself (it gets from the internet by knewstuff)

I have the same problem. When I copy the files to ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/styles directory I can't see any images. I've try to install it from Kopete using "Import style" button. In this case no image files were copied to ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/styles only *.xsl file and there are no images in chat dialog as well. Any idea? Thanks.

This problem is rather frequent and I truthfully can't explain why it happens in some systems and not in others... however a 'bad' solution is to slightly modify the source code of the style : at the 24th line of the file replace by the complete path to the 'data' directory... if anybody knows why it happens sometimes and how to prevent that bug, tell me ;-)

This is because on some distros the path to the data directory from kopete is different. For exampel on Gentoo is /usr/kde/3.4/share/apps/kopete/styles/data and on other distro it may be different for example /opt/kde3/share/apps/kopete/styles/data/. Get it? That is why i had to put the directory from your style with the icons in the above mentioned path to have icons in the style. Otherwise it wont work (with icons).

hey, nice style! looks good... i have 2 requests, tough: i don't think the fading of the balloon tips looks really nice, and second: could you PLEASE make this style collaps several comments from the same person in 1 balloon? tnx for the work, i'll have a look into this wether i can do it myself :D

ok, that's great. well, i generally like your stile now (except for the faded spikes on botom) but i have a suggestion: you might try to let the messages from right not extend entirely to the left and from left not to right - just to see if that looks better.... also, if someone on right says something, maybe put his/her picture right, too? btw i live the effect around the pic's!
