Description:

Ricebowl 0.2.0 has finally been released.

I am very happy you guys like this icon set. I promised to release 0.2 earlier, but this semester is so overwhelming to me so I ain't not much time. So I made the actions basically usable, and add some more folder icons and then release 0.2.0!

Because I have no KDE now, I could hardly make and test an install theme. So this is an icon set, not an icon theme. Anyone is welcomed to package it and send it to me, so I can add it here. Thank you!

Future version is planned. However release will not be very soon.

Now you can donate to Ricebowl from download link!

 Very nice

Very nice icons. For some reason I especially like mime-empty.png, which matches the real mimetypes nicely. Many themes have ugly icons for that. Also I think this very nicely avoids the annoying cartoonish look of most icon sets which are neither Crystal like nor photo-realistic.

I'll use these when there is a set of them! I think I could probably use either Crystal or OS-L for any missing mimetypes without too much inconsistency.

Shit, my RAM is full of llamas!

 Nice icons, but...

I am so sick of seeing the "This file is not a valid icon theme archive" message. Kind of defeats the purpose of posting icon themes on KDE-look.org I think. Perhaps we could have a separate "icon themes for people who enjoy working AGAINST the good work KDE developers do instead of WITH it" site. Just my two cents.

Argh, I 2nd this. I don't have time to monkey with setting a lot of icons. Beautiful set, but won't be used much unless they are easy to install. The icon standard for KDE has been around for years now, is easy to use, and just *works* without having the end-user fuss much.

usable theme will be available as Torchlight when 0.2.0 released. Currently there are not enough icons. And 0.1.99 such code name suggests "preview" or development snapshot. Thank you for support and theme will be released just couple of weeks from now.

 Dev is Right

Sometimes it's not best to say things. When a release has any hint of a .99 in it common sense (in the Linux world) tells you it's not complete or a beta of some sort. The fact that this person took the time out to make any Icons is a wonderful thing and you have the audacity to complain because a beta release doesn't fit your needs. Good luck in the real world!
