Description:

Glossy-Glass is a icon theme inspired by glass itself. I have got the exact look that I wanted for this icon set, each icon has been payed special attention to it's look.

If I was not happy with a icon then it was redesigned until I was perfectly happy, and this will containue. All going well I will release this icon set on Monday.

Feedback welcome

- Added extras directory for some alternative folder colours and some cool misc icons.

- Added clearlooks folder colours pack
- Made nowrite emblem without glossy back, which is more suitable and smaller.
- Made new symbolic link emblem without glossy back.

Put clearlooks folder colours on gnome-look server.

Ok, I've managed to download it and it is beautiful but lacks some icons.
Also you must change the Size fields in index.theme file to 128, otherwise all icons are huge.

I've uploaded it here

Well thats why it's only version 0.5, but again there are icons sets here missing loads more even than my icons.

My icon set doesn't look huge at 96 since it've tested it on a machine running gnome 2.8@1024x768. Besides it's looks to small a higher resolutions, i.e 1280x1024 like it have.

The size parameter in the file 'tells' gnome that these icons are of size 128 and then gnome scales thems so as to be proper for some function, eg. it scales them to a certain size so as to fit properly in the Desktop. So you have to set the correct size in that file.

Guess I should start by asking ... will you take any special requests for this seksi icon theme of yours? :]

I use 95% gnome apps but there are a few kde apps that I use that better suit my needs. Wondering if you could make icons for amarok, and kaffeine. If you want any of the more common kde apps would be cool too. (eg kopete, k3b)
