Description:

Some improvements I think will increase usability of Kmenu.

The Kmenu will have a toolbar at top with icons to change content of menu:

* Recent open applications menu
* All applications menu
* Menu for quick access to home directory
* Favorites menu
* Help menu per application

Will have an applets area, like "find file/folder" applet showed at mockup.

Download link is to a tarball with various mockups for a new kmenu, plus these screenshots.

Please give me feedback.

Always wanted to see the ability to "Browse" for the file you want to run. I find it annoying if something is not in the path, go find it, copy, paste, blah blah.

Looking nice but I do have a suggestion.
I use the recent programs _FAR_ more than anything. but what I've always disliked was if i had my menu button on the bottom I had to move my mouse all the way to the top of my screen just to get to the recent programs.

What I'd like to see is always having a way to get the recent programs as close to the button as possible.
so if the menu is at the top recent programs are at the top.
if the button is at the bottom.. the recent programs are at the bottom.

I see that you have multiple buttons for multiple different menu styles. That is nice. helps save space and doesn't take away too much usability if any.
Perhaps we could use my above idea for these buttons?
