Description:

Still Life is an icon set which aims to provide realistic, easy, and non-distractive icons. it is mostly adhering to the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines and is still quite young and incomplete.

Thanks to gnomonkey for suggesting the new (and more original) name.

Changelog:

Version 0.2.2

A few new mimetypes & some 128x128 icons.
Thanks to gnomonkey for suggesting the name "Still Life"!

Version 0.2.1:

Mini update, added home folder icon.

Very nice, can't wait for the final release. As far as a new name, how about something like "Still Life" since some of the icons are pretty photorealistic. Just a suggestion, but it was the first idea that jumped out at me.

Cheers.

I really like this theme and I hope you continue to work on it. Btw it seems you are missing a filled trash icon or it is misplaced.

This icon set has a GREAT POTENTIAL, this will be the default icon set for GNOME 2.16 if you don't give it up!!

 Beautiful

Beautiful theme, very simple, clean, fresh appearance.

It's application iconset is fairly complete, and the default GNOME icons look "good enough" alongside the Still Life ones that any gaps aren't a big deal.

You may want to fill in the holes presented by the new OpenDocument/Oasis formats with just symlinks to the old OpenOffice format type icons, as I have. Adding in icons for audio file and video file formats would be nice as well, even if they are generic to start with.
