Run kdm without acces control, go in to a console and run:

$ DISPLAY=:0 import -window root kdm.png

To run without acces control edit /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc file and add -ac option in ServerArgsLocal=

For exemple:

ServerArgsLocal=-ac -nolisten tcp

You can use xnest too ;-)

There is a small, white square in the upper left corner of my login screen. It covers the day name and date, but not the month and time of day.

This isn't a bug in your kdm theme (which I have installed), but I thought maybe you or someone else would know what setting I should enable or disable (probably in kdmrc) to get rid of it.

Any ideas?

login and password have blue background. It does not fit the whole picture (nice!) at all. Please, fix this. Light white-green would be good I think.
