Description:

A clean theme centered around a cup of coffee... good for the mornings.

Changelog:

1.3 Wow I didn't know people were still using this, infact I completely forgot about it, until I found out Gentoo been shipping it "broken and all" in the gdm-extra-themes.
This release fixes the crasher, a 1px wide rect
-Fixed Timed Login display
-Removed Grey background from face browswer,
i like the kind of floating look
-Cleaned up the XML

1.2 had the wrong background image... it was a screenshoot of the theme... please update if you happened to download it... I apologize... Thanks
---------------------------------------
Here is a list of Changes:
-fixed it so all four icons can show all the way on the screen at the same time... stupid mistake
-got rid of nasty red hightlighting on active, now it's grey, much more suiting, not sure where the red came in
-fixed the input box so now it has a grey outline all the way around it... looks much better...
-updated screen shot
-fixed action button now shows in flexi server mode... this is irritating not have it there
-changed font from Utopia to Sans (not everyone has utopia and the sourding fonts can be ugly, Sans isn't bad and is a little more common
-added light grey border to face browser

-----------------------------------------
This is my first theme so if you have any problems with it please let me know. I plan to add a matching metacity, gtk, gensplash and lilo themes as well. But I thought I would see if anyone liked it first before I did all the work.

 Face browser

It's good to see a new GDM theme with the face browser. There are so many nice ones that I won't use because they don't include it.

Thanks, I agree, that was the whole reason for creating this one. Most of the face browser ones aren't as much fun as just the regular themes. I like to change my look and feel of the desktop often so I'll probably be creating another one in a week or so, I need to find a new idea first. =)

Now if I could only figure out how to add my pictures to the login-screen.

(I'm running Ubuntu 4.10/Gnome 2.8)

just create an image that's roughly 60x60 pixels and save it as .face in your home directory. If that doesn't work make sure your gdm.conf file has it enabled. Let me know if that doesn't work =)

Hi,
very nice theme :)

but impossible to set up any face, i read this in gdm.conf:
"# Face browser is enabled. This only works currently for the
# standard greeter as it is not yet enabled in the graphical greeter."

I tried the rename 60x60 picture by .face in home dir (a jpg one then a png one), but it changed nothing...

Any idea ?

Thanks :)

 crash

kept crashing for me...

if you change line 58 of cafe.xml from
<pos width="100%" height="100%" />
to
<pos width="box" height="100%" />

it fixed it for me.

I love the look of this theme. It's fantastic. Took me an hour to get it working though. :)

Liked it very much, would have liked it even more if it were coffee with milk. Or something like an expresso, but other than that it is nice, good job.
