Description:

My try for the KDE 3.4 artwork contest.

Comments / suggestions very welcome! Let me know what you think, and how i could improve it!

The Konqi was hand drawn after a render of Basse's blender model. It took more than 16 ours of work to create the svg konqi. The rest took some hours too. This is the first project that i did with inkscape, so please bear with me.

If you vote it bad please at least explain why, so i could improve it further!

To the judges:
I know that this wallpaper does not render correctly with the svgicon engine. I discovered the errors to late, but if you want to include it into kde i will do all neccessary changes to let it work with the svgicon engine.

zhe konqui is realy great, but the green text-color does not fit very well i think.
work on ;) the best konqui in this contest!

Damn, that's a very well-drawn dragon. You should make a separate svg just of it - I'm sure the kde people would want to use it in other places...

Thanks! It was really hard work, but in the end i think it was worth of it.
And you are right, i will make it available to others. But first i have to do some improvements to konqi. It has still some glitches, and it lacks a little bit of detail here and there.
For the inpatient: You may already take the konqi out of the wallpaper and do something with it.
