Description:

Comix flat style for KDE 3.2+.

I hope this adds a little more fun to your desktop.
Thanks to all the authors of previous styles published for KDE. Please read AUTHORS, README and TODO.

Use the styles configuration button to overwrite the contour drawing color.
Use KDEs ControlCenter "Colors" dialog to adjust buttons- and highlight-color as well as the contrast.
Use kcontrols window decoration config-dialog to adjust title alignment and border width.

Also check the corresponding cursor theme at: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=32627

Have fun.

Thank you for your prompt response. I really love this theme, finally my linux box looks like itself, not like any other OS. Congratulations on such a fine job. However I couldn't get the window manager since the link for suse rpm 9.1 is dead. Can't compile the other one with my suse (personal).

Yes, my freak-dns-provider seem too stupid to simple forward my domain. You can try that download link with the .com-domain or wait a few days.

 0.1.4 to 1.0?

The Changelog says this is version 0.1.5 - which is what makes sense. Did you really intend to release this as 1.0 (as it is shown in KDE-LOOK).

It's not that I think the work is not mature (it is), just was not sure if this was conscious choice.

Thanks again to jlue for the great style!

 Default buttons

Hi,

I still think there should be a better/nicer default button look. Currently, it seems that the width of the boundary of the button is bigger. However, it is not perceptible enough, IMHO. I would suggest that there should be one more border of outside the border of button, with the color of the button background. What do you think?

Osho

Hi oshogg,

you are right, the default button could be nicer. I tried to make all buttons have the same size by default, but it might be better to have the default button be larger.
Thanks, i will work on that.

1) Thanks :)

2) I'm having a bit of a problem with 1.0, the thing is that I use TABS on "konsole" and that the active TAB will always be black (no description, no name, no nothing, just a black tab). The rest of the tabs look ok, until I'switch to them and they get active. In that case, they turn from "normal" into "black"... go figure...

That didn't happen with your prior releases.

I kown that the explanation is not quite clear, so if you want to, i can send you a screenshot or something.

see ya :)

About your second comment:

The tabs share the same colour as your console background. It looks really, really good with translucent colour schemes. :)

But you're right, black on black is kind of drab.
