Description:

Here are some add-on icons that you can use in conjunction with the Crystal Icons, or without if you so choose.

Some of you may have already seen the Mozilla Icons I made, so I thought I would include ones for Opera, Citrix ICA client, and VNC.

I am not graphic artist, however making these icons are fun, so I hope someone finds use of them.

These are only the 64x64 versions, if anyone needs the others, I will post them.

Also, please post ideas of some new icons. I am interested to see what Icons all you guys would like to see.

Don't forget these are not an Icon theme that you can install with the instructions that are added below. These are just individual files.

Once again, I bow before GIMP.

Kreg

Changelog:

Here are all the sizes for the Icons that I have made.

Everaldo has done a great job with his icon theme, and I would like to merge these and others with it to make one theme that we all could install, and enjoy.

Also The XP, and the MacOSX icons look great, on the OS that they were installed with, but this is KDE baby, Lets roll our own!

Very very cool icons, you are great,(like Everaldo, the original creator of the theme :-) I need an Icon for Knode, the newsreader, I tried to make it but i failed :-( I'm resizing some icons in order to complete the set, some icons smaller than 48x48 are missing(also the action icons bigger than 22x22 for the toolbar) but it needs a lot of work

The QTella project, a linux client based on the Gnutella protocol, could use an icon. Check out http://qtella.sf.net and try to put one together, I'm sure they would be very appreciative!

Thanks.

I've seen other addons for crystal, why don't start a project with the original artist(everaldoo) and the others in order to make a full featured icon theme?(now the theme lacks a great number of icons like the smaller versions of a great number of apps)

although this is a great idea, I think it is not feasible because Everaldo works for Connectiva and they distribute the "Crystal Icon Theme". So we can use it (eg extract it from their rpm) on our desktop but we can never put it on kde-look.org as an tarball. So I can understand that sevral artists prefer to call it Add ons (could be wrong).

Maybe a project called "Crystal addons" would be a good thing. Is it legal, if so go for it.

Seems like many people these days are craving for "crystalized" icons..

take care ..

Fab

 addons are legal?

I think that is possible to create a separate package but there's a problem, the resized icons! the crystal package lacks some smaller icons, and I think that we can't simply resize everaldo's icons and redistribute them.
Also I think that we must create a free addon, I saw some icons ripped from MacOS X in another addon, and that's Bad
