Description:

Exquisite is a port of the Xp_Mad icon set created byMimin Ladha. Additional icons by Ghast (action icons) were added to complete the icon set, but additinal releases will follow. This icon set uses a modified version of the build script created by Nick Bargnesi. As a result, the download is only 2 MB instead of 10 MB(Yes, I still have love for 56k users). The only tools required to create the entire icon set are bzip, tar, and convert (ImageMagik). Unpackage the Exquisite.tar.bz2 compressed file and run the included script buildset (./buildset - for newbies). Afterwards, use the Kcontrol center to install the icon set. Please provide some feed back about the icon set. I hope most people like it. If not, give me a good vote anyway :-)

Changelog:

Added a link to download an alternative Konsole and Xterm Icon - Removing the C: - you guys really do hate Microsoft don't you.

A C:\ icon for Dosbox or dosemu is very much neccessary. Who hates MS? My favourite game is Microsofts gorilla.bas in Dosbox.

FIRST AT ALL: Thanks for loving me !! I'm a 56K user (mmm....) This icon set could be the best. For me it is and probably will be.

THE ERROR:
Checking for bzip2... found /usr/bin/bzip2
Checking for tar... found /bin/tar
Checking for convert... which: no convert in (/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin/:/usr/games:/home/faustus/bin)
no.

No convert found in path.

IN FACT I CAN`T FIND THAT CONVERT ROUTINE ON LOCAL OR WEB STORAGES.

Have you any ideas ??
Thanks !!

I`m very thankful for your answer, but I already know about that. In fact the readme package say that.

The problem is that I installed ImageMagic MDK precompiled (MDK CDroms) and last version from ImageMagick home page links. Two different ImageMagic versions and error persists.

Why the script can`t find the library ??

Any more ideas ?? THX again.

If you installed both versions, try the following command to locate the convert binary.

locate convert

If the above command returns nothing, refresh your urpm sources and perform the following

urpmf convert

Next, install any updated version of Imagemagik and once again execute

locate convert

after you find the binary file

place a link to the file in the usr/bin or user/local/bin directory.

If you can't find the convert binary, you may wan't to unistall both versions of image magic, reboot your box and reinstall one of the versions.

Let me know if this doesn't work.

 Update your DB

To find convert, you may need to update your local file system database with the following command before you try and locate the file.

updatedb -u

The database will be rebuilt from the root tree.

man updatedb will provide more options.

 Problem Solved !!

Salut and Salutations...

It was a little vision problem. Actually, the problem finding convert was the real presence of convert in my PC. I found Mandrake RPM version of ImageMagic working without apropiate convert suport.

It`s a good recommendation for MANDRAKE USERS to compile ImageMagic source code= "not to install the precompiled RPM version" (I`m using MDK version 10).

Thanks a lot !!

And Just a sugestion: improve the taskbar icons.

See you soon.

 Replace them.

The beauty of using the build kit is the fact that before you build the icon set, you can replace any of the icons you don't like with replacement icons. Remove the taskbar icons and then build the icon set.
