I guess this is ironical, right? I mean, beside stalin, there aren't much ppl who are responsible for so many deaths as this nice guy...

Religion is often abused as an excuse to kill - its easy to use.

But "for the sake of the community" seems to be even stronger - as we see in communism and facism.

Actually, the very idea of religion of a veil above the true reality il a thesis of Ludwig Feuerbach in the essence of christianism. This is a critic of Hegel's idealism.
Marx only applied this thesis to all idealisms such as philosophy and so on for all level of Ideas.

WTF are you babbling about?

It has been reported that Mao Zhe Dong once said to the Dalai Lama that "Religion is poison."

Just open your mind, and try to find informations by youself."It has been reported that..." could you stop believing without critical mind all you are shown on tv? Where did Mao find this idea? Do you think he found it by himself? What is the philosophical source and background of marxism? You'd rather read some interesting books...even if this site is only an artwork site ressources, I suggest you to enter a library, and -again- look at Hegel + Feurbach + Lukacs + Althusser + Marx (and please, Marx did not only wrote his manifesto...see for the german ideology,1846 and manuscripts,1844), and perhaps if you follow the white rabbit you'll see how deep the hole goes, and waht does mean this quote "religion is opium...", why was it said, which philosophical background allowed it, and that Mao did not create or think any big thoughts.
in a friendly way.

Are you really that stupid? Any moron that has even bothered attending (much less paying attention in) a high school history class knows this. However, that's not really something easily illustrated in a minimalistic wallpaper of a political figure. If you really want a wallpaper with a three-page long essay for a caption, then by all means, make one. Personally, I think that you're taking the term "background" far too literally.

 Not good for Linux

Hi,
do you think American people will love Linux more if you convince them that we all are communists?
Do you want to help Bill Gate$ to convince people that we are the ENEMY?

Hi,

I think a better question would be "Do I care?"

The answer to the aforementioned question is "No."
