Description:

I took inspiration from Open as root, http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=11227 to create this.
Unpack in $KDEDIR/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/ and it will be easier to edit your configuration file!
Suggestions and comments will be appreciated!

Due to someone's problems in opening file, i've re-packed in zip format.
I also added a couple of translations (thank's for your suggestions)

so many times i wish this worked for me

path for Mandrake 10.0 users is

/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/

so i logged in as su in Terminal

cp -f /wherethefile is/edit\ as\ SU.desktop /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/

BAM... done!

Is there a way to use another editor than kwrite. I don't have it installed.

After installing your useful mod, I noticed a strange behaviour : when I right-click on a text file I see "Edit as root" two or three times.
One time is enough I think.

Any idea ?
