Tempting to call this wallpaper 'angst' or 'pretentious'.

Its all based upon assumptions, like because the allies have not found any wmd, there was no wmd.

Who would use this POS for wallpaper.
I think I see a tear mark for a signature...

You people baffle me.. you cry and whine when we're not in a war (see WWII). And now you do the same things when we initiate the removal of a dictator whose terror is parallel to that of Hitler. But I guess we should stay out of it until he gets powerful enough to pull a Germany on you, because you always have big brother there to help you out, right?

If the war is about oil, why didnt we take all of it the first time in '91? Why havent we taken it now? Why am I still paying $2.00 a gallon? Maybe because its not about oil?

Ah shut up... all of you. Those who don't understand anything of world history and political matters are the greatest chatterboxes. Start studying Middle East history at a University before any of you (and first of all you, GNUbie) start talking crap. I, as a professional historian, always get really frustrated when I see that those who don't know anything simply can't keep their mouth shut. Better start reading a book like e.g. Macchiavelli and Platon before giving stupid comments.

So only your opinion counts because you read a book. Books are tainted by opinions too. I was in the AirForce for twenty years and have been throughout the middle east. I've seen terrorist scoping out khobar towers and speeding away in a white chevy caprice before they were caught. They blew up the corner building 2 months later. I can tell you things you won't find in a book, because I lived them and remember.

Well Why dont you have an opinion? And really thers only two opinions in this matter and even profesionals disagree about it, So It doesnt matter where you are your still always going to see arguments about this when it comes up, You dont have to be a genious to have an opinion on this, I personly believe the war was justified.

You dont need a virus to destroy a system with windows, It already has on on it itself.

I didn't say that I don't have an opinion concerning this. But I am not willing to write a fivehundred-page-essay on this topic here. By the way: the "wallpaper" is crap.

Well, this has been posted to the wallpapers section and therefore it should be judged as a wallpaper and not as a political statement.

WRT a wallpaper I have to say, that it shows no graphical skills nor nice colors. It's just plain black on white and therefore unusable as a wallpaper.

 This Administration?

Don't be fooled by election year crap, this is what the previous administration said for years:

We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program.
– President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.
[T]he risk that the leaders of [Iraq] will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security risk we face.
– Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Feb. 18, 1998.
[We] urge you ... to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.
– Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Tom Daschle, Carl Levin, John Kerry and others, Oct. 9, 1998.
We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.
– Sen. Ted Kennedy, fall, 2002.
We know [Saddam] has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.
– Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.
We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has ... a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction.
– Sen. Bob Graham (chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee), Dec. 8, 2002.

Did you a actually forget we bombed the hell out of Iraq almost daily for 10+ years? We tried starving them out via sanctions. Because of the belief in WMD we did all that. And you think that removing Saddam a ruthless dictator and restoring trade, no more arial bombings, etc. is a bad idea? Think again, at least now there is a remote possibility that eventually Iraq can get it's house in order and we can leave that hell hole. Unfortunately, I see it becoming another Iran, but at least we gave them an option.

Emon,
For a history guru you sure are king of the one word replys. With your need to always get the last word I would be willing to bet you are not over 15.
